There are five roles in the ParcelShield platform including:
Package Viewer
User who primarily views packages and doesn't need to take any action or make decisions on packages
Has visibility to real-time dashboard that provides overall visibility to packages in-flight for the day
Has visibility to locations and packages
Can view package details including shipper, recipient and carrier scans/notes
Can view proof of delivery documents
Can view Standard Reports
Package Contributor
User who primarily views packages and may be involved in delivery of packages
Has visibility to real-time dashboard that provides overall visibility to packages in-flight for the day
Has visibility to locations and packages
Can view package details including shipper, recipient and carrier scans/notes
May submit an 'action request' to the Support team for support on a package
May receive an 'information request' from the Support team to support delivery of a package
Can view proof of delivery documents
Can view Standard Reports
Package Manager/Member
User who is evaluating packages that are at-risk or escalated and require some action to be taken to support on-date delivery
Has visibility to real-time dashboard that provides overall visibility to packages in-flight for the day
Has visibility to locations and packages
Can view package details including shipper, recipient and carrier scans/notes
May receive an 'action request' from a customer to provide package delivery support
May submit an 'information request' to a customer to support delivery of a package
Can view proof of delivery documents
Can view Standard Reports, Advanced Reports, Ground Reports and Analytics
POD Only Viewer
User who primarily logs into platform for proof of delivery documentation
User see POD list view
Can view proof of delivery documents
Can view the Proof of Delivery Report
Administrator
User who has the same configuration and permissions as a Package Manager/Member
User who can perform more work related to action and information requests
User will have some platform configuration options as part of their role
