Risk Forecast

Risk Forecast allows users to understand temperature and environmental risks that may impact the delivery of a package. Users can view package shipment risks by extreme, high, medium and low down to the individual zip code or zip code prefix.

Risk Forecast is based on historical carrier/service levels and on-date deliveries, transportation and weather data along with ParcelShield models to predict on-date package delivery.

Risk Forecast is arranged in sections including:

  • All Package Risk Alerts - shows expected package risk alerts for the day, based on historical shipment data; this includes a breakdown between extreme, high, medium and low

  • Package Environmental Risk Alerts - shows average environmental risks (weather, natural disaster, etc.) alerts for the day, based on historical shipment data; this includes a break down between extreme, high, medium and low

  • Package Delivery Env. Risk Alerts - shows packages in transit to at risk zip codes for upcoming days by risk and zip code
