Welcome to Planning which allows users to plan shipments, evaluate carriers/service levels and review delivery risk prior to shipment. To plan a shipment, users will go through the steps below including:
Enter order number and check 'refrigerated' if applicable
Select desired delivery date
Select origin location and check 'signature required' if applicable
Enter recipient zip code
View additional information for project routed details or delivery partner services
Confirm the shipment
Planning Risk Levels
Low risk is we predict 95%+ chance of on day delivery
Medium risk is we predict 90-95% chance of on day delivery
High risk is we predict 80-90% chance of on day delivery
Extreme risk is we predict < 80% chance of on day delivery
Estimated Rate
Estimated rate is calculated by:
Using origin (configured in drop down behind the scenes) and destination zip code (entered by user).
If package is refrigerated, set weight to 4 lbs. If package is not refrigerated, set weight to 1 lb.
If package is refrigerated use dimensions 20.25x15.25x13.25 (inches). If a package is not refrigerated, use dimensions 10x10x10 (inches).
Note: Not all users will have estimated rates available. Rates are tied to carrier data access.
Confirmation Page
Once the shipment has been confirmed, users will see a confirmation page and start planning a new shipment.
